The CSA was active during the 1960s. The main publication
was "Caesar" (which came from the name of the Society "CSA" (See-Es-Ah), the title
being adopted with issue 61:1 (where 61 is the year 1961 and 1 is the month of
January). Prior to being given this name it was simply known as the "Official
Newsletter of the Cooranbong Speleological Association). The first copy the ASF
Library holds is July 1959 (59:1), which is the first issue of what was intended to be "a regular Newsletter to be issued monthly". The Association was in existance as early as 1956, when their
first report was issued. We have no details about when the caving club ceased
operating.
