This historic map of the Abercrombie Caves was drawn up in 1899 by Oliver Trickett who was the Surveyor of Caves for the New South Wales Department of Mines 1892 - 1919. Few copies of this original print of the map still exsist, except in Archives and museums and, of course at Abercrombie Caves. It is interesting to note that the Gold Miners Dance Planform is marked on this map, proving that the platform is over 100 years old.
