About this CD ROM

This CD-ROM has been prepared on behalf of the WDPA Consortium by the Center for Applied Biodiversity Science (CABS) at Conservation International (CI). It is based on the January 2004 version of the database released by the WDPA Consortium. Additional tables on the current update status of the database were provided by the United Nations Environment Programme-World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC). Both the Conservation Knowledge Department and the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Laboratory at CABS have actively pursued this production in a record time. |
