How do you find out who is interested?

These questions will help you to identify people, groups and organisations that need to be informed, consulted or involved in some way:

  • who has detailed knowledge about this heritage place?
  • who owns and manages the land where the place is found?
  • who are its custodians and caretakers?
  • who keeps records?
  • are any specialists interested (eg ecologists, anthropologists or architects)?
  • who will be affected?

To further help you to identify people interested in your place, you can look at a more detailed set of questions and a list of types of individuals and organisations who might be interested.
